Is the first law of the 42 Ideals of Ma'at, a modern translation of the 42 negative confessions of Ma'at.

The 42 Laws are an earlier version of the 10 commandments.
Known as the 42 Laws of Ma'at or The 42 negative confessions, or The declaration of innocence, were what the Ancient Egyptians believed they would declare in the afterlife, in the presence of the great and benevolent judge Osiris, recorded by Djehuty/Thoth, in the presence of Anpu/Anubis who had carefully guided the soul into the Hall of Two truth's to be 'judged' or you could say, evaluated, to determine what was the next step for this souls journey.

Their spiritual heart, the Ib, was then placed on the scales with the feather of Ma'at on the other side, and needed to be as light as the feather in order to proceed onwards.

Within my online mystery school, we have 42 days of embodiment with Ma'at - practices, rituals, hymns, reading, affirmations, audio guided meditations.

This allows the participants to see how each Ideal shows up in their day, integrate and embody the principal, and helps to shine a spotlight on where we need to deepen our healing/transformation work.

We begin with the 5 Yin Organ purging and tonification daily practice, which is an audio that allows you clear the heart, lungs, liver, spleen and kidneys then nourish and tonify them. This brings forth the innate qualities of the 5 virtues, the 5 Lights, housed in these organs: kindness/benevolence, trust, order, integrity, wisdom.
