𓆄 I Respect the Property of Others 𓆄

is the 4th Ideal of the 42 ideals of Ma'at.

One of Sekhmets many epitaphs is 'Protector of Ma'at' - and through her mythology we learn about the wrath of the Goddess when the children of the earth fell into a state of disrespect for the earth, the natural resource's, and each other... Ra sends the wrath of his beloved Daughter to solve the problem. Then not too long after, petitions Thoth to help solve her rampage when her anger at the human race is so filled with rage ... Pomegranate dyed beer solves the problem, and transforms Sekhmet’s anger into her benevolent Hathor nature, saving humanity. Phew!

𓄂 Her story is reflective of today, for in her wrath she brought plagues, wildfires, war and total chaos to bring balance back to the earth - restore Ma'at - essentially to wake the humans the fck up!

Are we waking up fast enough? Are we being stewards of the earth on a personal level?

This is a call and reminder for you to up your steward game, and do your part actively, regularly, and without looking for any credit for it... Like the indigenous peoples do...because it is our responsibility to do so and effect change, start conversations and inspire/teach others to do the same.
